Jim Fried

Jim Fried is a real estate businessperson, family man, podcaster, and mentor. Mr. Fried has worked in the commercial real estate industry for 35 years as a top mortgage broker and investment sales broker in Miami, having closed $3 Billion in capital markets transactions. In addition, Jim has closed millions in "hard money" residential and commercial loans. Jim has hosted a popular business podcast called "Fried on Business" for 13 years. He founded Sandstone Realty Advisors 20 years ago, and the one-person firm was ranked “Top 25 Real Estate Firms in South Florida” by transaction volume in 2018 by the South Florida Business Journal. In the last two decades, Jim has partnered with Mill Creek, Related Group, Lennar, and other national developers to close on multiple sites used to develop numerous mixed-use projects. Mr. Fried has completed more land sales for apartment buildings in South Florida in the last two cycles than any other individual. Most recently, Jim is a leading market maker in the tokenization of real estate. Over the course of his career, Jim has also developed significant relationships in the family office niche. He was named one of the Family Office Real Estate Global Advisors by Family Capital Magazine. Mr. Fried is passionate about giving back to the community and makes time for helping others achieve their goals. He ran for the Miami City Commission in 2019 and has mentored dozens of students and young community leaders. In 2018, Jim received the Miami-Dade Public School Alumni Achievement Award. Jim is a member of the University of Florida Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies. He uses his vast network of contacts to help his clients execute their plans.
